Movistar Riders qualify for MSI MGA Finals

Movistar Riders have secured a place at the MSI MGA Finals after winning the Europe Closed Qualifier over Izako Boars.

Izako Boars and Movistar Riders squared off in the grand final of the MSI MGA Europe Closed Qualifier for a spot at the LAN finals. The Polish team got past Atlantic and PACT while Movistar Riders eliminated FriendlyFire and fightclub in the earlier rounds.

The best of-three final kicked off on Train where both sides picked up nine rounds on the CT-side, taking it to overtime. Izako Boars edged the map victory, winning it 19-17 and going 1-0 up in the series.

mixwell's team will be in Brooklyn in September

Oscar "⁠mixwell⁠" Cañellas & company responded by winning Nuke 16-1 and taking the series to the third map which was Mirage. The Spanish side secured the last map 16-13.

With the 2-1 series victory, Movistar Riders qualified for the MSI MGA Finals which will take place at the Barclays Center during ESL One New York with a $60,000 prize pool.
